1. The BFAA Review Board has delivered more than 1,000 questions for five licenses: Investment Advisor (IA), Investment Information Provider (IIP), Investment Insurance Advisor (IIA), Non-Life Insurance Advisor (NLIA) and Life Insurance Advisor (LIA). Our questions meet set quality standards that make them valid for the BFAA competency tests according to MIFID 2 and IDD.
  2. The BFAA has started collaboration with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). The agreement between the two institutions states that the CISI has given the BFAA the permission to use the material from the relevant CISI workbooks in developing its own workbook. The CISI will recognise the BFAA Investment Advisor (IA) qualification in satisfying the requirement for Associate Membership of the CISI (ACSI) for those Baltic practitioners who hold the BFAA Investment Advisor qualification. More details in the BFAA & CISI’s common press release.
  3. The BFAA will publish two workbooks that will help the license candidates prepare for the exams at the end of Q3 2017.
  4. The BFAA Code of Ethics for the license candidates of our affiliated companies will demonstrate our dedication to maintaining and raising the standards in the advisory process, for the ultimate protection of consumers.
  5. The BFAA has conducted a pilot study of all the tests in Lithuania to proactively ensure the proper quality of our questions and tests. The findings will be available soon.
